Our claim checker is a short form that asks what happened, where, and when. It takes about two minutes, and our team reviews your answers personally before anyone gets in touch.
Is this a free claim check?
Yes, completely free with no obligation to proceed. If it looks like you have a valid claim, we’ll contact you to talk through your options.
Do I have to make a claim if I use the claim checker
No. Using the checker commits you to nothing at all. Plenty of people use it to find out where they stand and decide not to proceed, and that is a perfectly reasonable outcome.
What if I am not sure when the accident happened?
An approximate date is fine. Put down roughly when you think it was, or the month if that is all you remember. We can narrow it down from records later, and an uncertain date is not a reason to hold off.
Can I use the claim checker on someone else's behalf?
Yes. The first question asks whether you are claiming for yourself or for somebody else. Parents can use it for a child, and families often make the first enquiry for a relative who is not yet well enough to do it themselves. You do not need anything signed by them to start a conversation with us.
